Besides SF does anyone else make a 2-stage tail switch

I found an old thread that discussed 2-stage switches. I understand SF holds the patent. So besides the L1, LX2, EB1, and EB2 are there any more torches with 2-stage switches. I know McGizmo made some, but are those limited to the secondary market, am I correct?

In my opinion the 2-stage tail switch is the perfect UI.

I love that UI as well and am using a loose/tight bezel UI (work-around) where I can choose the low (0.3/3/20) and then momentarily call max (~400 lms) with enough finesse to signal a fast morse code.

its my favorite UI too.
there are more surefires such as the Aviator series that uses the dual-stage tailcap.
but, you are correct that only surefires have them. And no longer produced McGizmo pieces.

Elzetta makes some. I think some tried to get them to work on other lights with limited or no success. Should be some threads on it here somewhere.

I don't think there is any switch that works like the SF one does. I am sure they have a patent on it .Its a marvel of engineering to me. Its not an electronic switch .

Its a 2 stage momentary twisty !!
