I know there are thousands of posts on these lights, but sifting to find the answer leaves the question alive for me:

If I do the "20 click turn programming on" move on an LE Clicky can I reprogram it to be an executive-type setup?

Yes, on these two models you can customise each of the four preset levels so you could reprogram the LE to behave like the executive and vice-versa. The only difference is in the default settings that it will go back to if you do a factory reset.
