Opinions needed: My favorite light right now is the SL TL-2 LED, nice size, long clip, decent throw. But I want to put a LuxIII in one of them. Should I:
1.) just change the emitter and the resistor to run at 700~800ma
or
2.) put a DownBoy 700 in the thing to regulate it?
Both are very simple mods, but I don't know if I would really benefit from the DB700.
