Is Niteye defunct / shut down?

So I haven't seen anything new with the Niteye branding on it to my knowledge. Furthermore the last "news" posted on Niteye.com/ was in July 2012.

Did Niteye go out of business? I'm asking purely out of curiosity. I don't own any of their stuff.

Maybe Jetbeam dropped the Niteye-brand.

Yes, there was some controversy surrounding the Niteye brand a while back, and there hasn't been much heard from them since then. You can do a forum search and find some pretty fun debates and gossip sessions, if you're into that sort of thing
