hey guys,

so I got a Xeno Cube XM-L v7 coming to me and I wanted to ask primarily what batteries that are protected and currently on the market will fit in that tube. I'm thinking of the Keeppower* protected 14500 cells but would rather not order some just to find that they don't fit.

Experiences?

* specifically the KeepPower 14500 840mAh Sanyo UR14500P Protected Button Top

I just received four of those batteries from eBay, I was pleasantly pleased with the price, however when they arrived I determined there almost 2 mm longer than the standard AA battery and will not work and either my two cell AA or my single cell A Quark bodies so they got returned.

I am leaning towards the AW protected cell right now, or the IMR, I just don't know which one is closest in size to a AA alkaline.

I run my Xeno E03 with naked Sanyo 840mAh UR-Ps, but I live life on the edge.

Some of these protected cells (EVVA/Sanyos) are too dang long to fit in my Xeno, L3 L10 and Icon Rogue 1.

Fly naked and just learn your runtimes and check your voltages.
