We put every possible dollar into the product itself. Packaging is exactly only what's needed to get it to you safely.

That being said, I still think you guys go overboard...in a good way All my orders have always arrived excellently secured. Foam tubing makes great packing material.

I have heard stories of envelopes tearing with thicker objects inside. I am glad Oveready uses boxes. The shipping foam tubes (thanks for bringing back fond memories with your photo, Frogman1010) are used to insulate plumbing pipe, and are not very expensive.

also Thanks to Frogman1010 for the Wasp photo!

It will be interesting to get more evaluation and experimentation from actual users, on these heads.

The Wasp is the kind of innovative heat sinking I was hoping for. It is indeed elegant and lightweight. Congratulations to the Oveready Team. I think this project will keep the Russian team member Extra busy.
But is there quantitative data to show it works better than fins?

    Great question:
Yes, there is. and we are still organizing it to present to you guys.

The simplest example to share is that the Wasp heads can run longer than the Original heads before the thermal protection kicks in.
In many situations the Wasp can run until the cells are flat without tripping the thermal protection.

I hope to have some easy to understand data ready to share with you all soon.

Running til battery empty is certainly good evidence, especially if true with 18650.

Looking good! Would love to see some beamshots if you get a chance. Picked up the tube and Triad, waiting for the XPL heads to drop!

Can you remove the head, optics and LED/driver board to show us how it is modular and swappable?

The TorchLab logo seems to be machined now instead of just laser etched? Either way, the logo itself looks much better compared to the previouse version on the older moddoolar heads. Great looking head. I wanted to replace the Z44 on one of my lego lights with a smoothie but now I think it´s going to be a Wasp

You can always make special requests in the order notes. If its popular enough, I'll add a new menu to the order page. F1 will of course, have no GID by default.
