Germany/Middle Europe Get-together 2004

I'm gauging interest for a Germany-get-together in 2004.
Just throwing in some ideas:
I could posibly arrange a cottage with hot water shower/Restrooms/dispensing head for beer /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/blush.gif and posibilities to sleep in a remote place near Karlsruhe/Mannheim (I have seen some members posting that they are from the Baden-Wuertemberg / Rhein-Main-Area... so my place would fit the bill of a majority)
We could meet there for lets say 2 days and have a nice campfire in the evening and play around with our goodies.
Just to throw in a date, what about the first weekend in July? I assume a rather early fixation of a date would help people with a tight shedule to arrange it.

Any suggestion, idea or comment is very welcome.

*** EDIT*** anticipated date will be Friday/Saturday 02.-03. July 2004. I have reserved the cottage for this date.

Sounds like fun. If I'm not deployed to Iraq or somewhere else nasty, I'd like to attend. Be sure to give us details as it gets closer.

I'd like to join too, but since I've no own car it depends on where it will be exactly. I'm from the karlsuhe city center so anything near that location would be ok.

Date:
Friday, July 2. - Saturday, July 3.

Shedule:


Friday:
- arrive in afternoon, early evening
- Barbeque in the evening
- Nightwalk through the surounding woods
- open end on the campfire


Saturday:
- Breakfast
- Chrisse242's Kydex Workshop (If you would like to attend that, please let Chrisse242 or me know so he can arrange everything!)

Accomodation:
- inside the cottage in one or two rooms or
- in your own tent
In both cases a sleeping bag is necessary

I don't know if anyone of you is interested or already experienced in kydex work, but I could bring some kydex and necessary tools to start a little workshop. I'm not more than an amateur in this, but have at least some experience. Just let me know so I can bring enough kydex with me.

Kydex Workshop sounds great. I'd suggest to make that on Saturday after Breakfast. There should be plenty of time before we all have to leave.

If we can do this in late April or early May, I'll be able to make it. At the end of May I head to Iraq for six months. Hope to see you all!
