Does anybody have first hand experience with a 5202 LED bulb that is actually brighter and puts more light on the road than stock 5202 bulbs? The application is for factory fog lights in a 2015 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk. Thank you......

Welcome to the board. There is no such thing as a 5202 bulb -- that number is a date code on the bulb picked up by the guy who does all the catalogging. The "5202" bulb is actually a PSX24W. More than that, though:

1. No, there is no possibility to have a safe, effective, legal, improved, or even decent result with an "LED bulb" replacement for your fog lamps...or for any other road illumination lamp designed for a halogen bulb. The LED bulb "retrofits", no matter what brand is on them, are not a legitimate product. They are fraudulent and illegal. They are not capable of producing even close to the amount of light produced by the halogen bulb they supposedly replace, and the light they do produce is not produced in the right pattern for the lamp's optics to work to distribute the light properly.

2. The fog lamps should be turned off and left off. They are cosmetic toys, not capable of doing anything useful for you, and usually they do the opposite; see this writeup.
