So it's too big, that's what she said!

A nut and two pennies and we are in business. So anyone wanting to charge Ni-MH D cells can do so on the NiteCore d2 and d4 chargers.

I had some 14 ga bare copper wire that I bent up to do something similar. I have 2 cells in the D4 right now, secured with a rubber band. Slightly less elegant than the magnets and alligator clips but I suppose it works.

I wonder if it matters in the long term whether you use pre-1982 copper pennies or post '82 zinc ones?
