Global Tech LED Fan Fan question

I recently got a Global Tech LED replacement yoke style mount model GTSOLM21 and I am using 2 12 Volt batteries (SLA) in series to it power up the unit and the fan spins and about 5 seconds the fan will stop spinning but the LEDs stay lit. I do not see anything on the Global Tech site about a temperature controlled fan so that is why I am asking
Global Tech will not speak to me as I am not the original person who purchased the module

I don't know if the module is bad but I got it from the maintenance men who deal with the lights around my apartment complex
it was flickering so they replaced the driver and the whole LED module

OK so I answered my own question
The fan IS temperature controlled
I am surprised that Global Tech does not mention this anywhere on their website or in any literature about the Solstice M21 unit
I ran the unit for about 5 minutes and the fan finally came on when the heatsink was 125 F (Measured with my IR Thermometer)
