Hi,
Has anyone tried to remove the MTG2 from Eagletac mx25l3? I was going to replace it with a XHP50, but I noticed that the copper heatspreader is fixed by screws to the aluminium can. If I unscrew the screws, are there nuts on the blind side that will fall irretrievably into the electronicss, or are the screws threaded into the aluminium can??
Note that I measured the following on a clamp ammeter : Full power - 4.3 amps. 200 second stepdown - 3.1 amps.
