M43vn - Best of 2015?

See post 2 for photos and videos

All M43vn have the following upgrades:
- Arctic silver thermal paste upgrade for LED Copper pad
- Extra solder added onto driver for more driver heat sinking
- Complete thermal padded for all surface of driver
(Can't show pictures of internals due to manufacture request)

Details and impression:
No current boost as light is over boosted from factory
safe 4 cell parallel design
The quality of this light is equal to or greater than Zebralight and Surefire.
All parts and machining are the best of the best
All internal fitments and designs were well thought out
UI seems complicated at first but is indeed very easy to use (See UI Video in Post 2)
Any LED or driver configuration is bright in this light!
Can't brag about this light enough. The UI held me back initially but I got it down now and it's amazing. Still prefer DriverVNX2 though LOL.
XPL Dedome is definitely amazing as the photos indicated in post 2. I believe XPL PDTc will be very nice.
XPG2 CW budget version is excellent for the money. Highly recommend.

The stock UI is really quite confusing - speaking from trying to figure it out last night for 15 minutes myself.... I got the hang of it... but a driven vnx would be nice

3D tint is amazing...should do nicely on this one. I want one bad, but just can't make myself spend so much.

A little afraid of this light :eek:oo:

Looking forward to it! Still trying to decide if I should get a monster light, and which one. M43, TN36, MX25L3C, MX24L4C...

Stock VS Boosted

The difference is so tiny that the gain is not worth the extra heat and possible reliability of the light. Factory is pushed very hard and is hot as is. I think thermal upgrades + and may be XPL Dome on version for ultimtae lumen is all that is recommended.

Good to know, thanks!

What emitter does yours have? If you've seen more than one option, which do you prefer?

I'm probably a little premature in these questions, but I know there are others wondering the same thing....

1. Will there be a dedome option (specifically XP-G2)?
2. How much of a current bump? NEVERMIND
3. About how much percentage increase in lumens does the current bump make? NEVERMIND
4. About how much more runtime on turbo will the upgrades give this light before it has to be turned down due to heat? NEVERMIND
5. And of course, any idea of when these will be available?

Thanks Vinh!

I dotn think XPg2 dedome would be nice but I might be wrong. No idea yet when these will be ready to order. Still in testing phase.
