CQvn... What's the rec cell for this? 1 or 2 cells? IMR only? Is it direct drive or regulated?

I can help a lil with ur question

The quad is single imr operation only. With the drivervn installed, 100% mode is basically direct drive. It's 10 amp draw, so try and use a zerorez twisty. I have two different cqvn set ups with zerorez twistys and they are way crazy bright!

Quad xpg2 5000k has a huge powerful hotspot with amazing tint! I own one, definitely recommend.

Thanks for the info. Was just looking through the 25 pages on this drop in! I have a VOB XHP-70 that puts out as much if not more light, but it's really all flood and I prefer more throw. Any input on this comparing the two? R u running an 18650 or 26650 set up on yours?

I'm using a purple button top efests 18650 35amp discharge and it works great!! I even use a purple efest 18500 with one oveready twisty.

You are going to get a lot more throw with quad xpg2. The hot spot is amazing, and it stays intense even at a distance so no problem throwing a great amount of focused lumens.

Vinh had said that between quad xpl and quad xpg2, the xpg2 puts the lumens right where he wants them lol
plus with drivervn u will have a lot of mode groups to play with.
