who makes walgreens d cells

they say made in usa sorry if this is a repost I thought I posted but cant see it I may of forgot to hit send

they have more starting voltage then my Duracell's not sure if that means anything

They are made by Energizer/Eveready or if made in Indonesia, Fujitsu

Not sure, I use eneloops/duraloops for everything maybe someone else can chime in here

They likely come out of the same manufacturing plant that Duracells and or Energizers do. When it comes to D alkalines Energizers are the best made. From your description they almost sound like re wrapped Energizers with the high starting voltage. You could actually try contacting Walgreens about it they may actually get back to you relatively quickly.

so far it seems like the walgreens blow away Duracell in my 1000 lumen lantern. unless I made a mistake some where

I think I have some of these new laying around..I can do a discharge test on my MH-C9000 if anyone is interested, they aren't D cells but AA

Sometimes they use identical wrappers and end caps in generic brand batteries such that you can look at energizer, rayovac, and duracell batteries and them side by side and see who made them.

Dunno nothing about them.... we don't have a costco within 200 miles of here yet.

second test and so far the Walgreens are once again better then the Duracell. Im 3 hours and 30 minutes into test and its brighter then the duracells was at same time period . At 4.5 hours the walgreens was at 3.5 and the duracells was at 1.9 .meter was at lux reading and was like 12 feet away from meter
edit 30 more minutes and walgreens are at 3.3 lux
edit 2 30 more minutes and is at 3.0 lux im loveing these cells

cool there bogo right now

took 4.5 hours for my bushnell to get down to 1.9 lux on the duracells and 8.5 hours on the walgreens looks like ill get some more

im pretty sure i didnt make a mistake but the diferece is so big i wonder if i did make a mistake
