Anybody building a DSpeck Firefly kit?

Thinking about getting one of these from the Sandwich Shoppe.

Has anyone recently put one together with more modern components (emitter/driver/reflector)?.

Any input/photo's would be appreciated. Thanks.

Built one from the shoppe a year ago with an XP-G behind the included optic, not a good focus could work with diffusion film probably
Needs a copper disk to mount the 10mm LED mcpcb onto as I think they were designed for sandwich style led/driver dropins
Put a 3s McGizmo driver in it since they are on the ~15mm scale
Three speed is a nice upgrade

Recently bought the complete kit. Comes without a driver so need to pick one out.
