Fivemega Copper Head
Fivemega G4 D26 SUNLIGHT w/WA1185
Fivemega 3x18500 C Body

So in this host pictured, it will not light up unless I loosen the bezel all the way off, and the drop in just barely touches the side of the body. after ut lights up, I can then tighten the bezel back down, and the clicky works fine, but if I let it cool down, it won't start up again. I tried copper tape around the module, and nothing... it's like it needs more resistance to start it up?

I currently have the module in a 6P host with 2 AW IMR 16340's, and it starts up every time.

thoughts?

I have some FM1909 Bulbs on their way here to, and I can try one of them....

Are you using AW's protected 18500 cells? In this case try quickly tap on/off/on/off/on/off/ON
If it lights up, then you will need new sets of protected AW's 18500 cells.
Only healthy protected AW's 18500 cells can power up WA1185 at first click.
If you decided to go with FM1909 Bulb, then IMR 18500 batteries will be the only choice.

thanks. I'll pick up some IMRs. I still could not get it to light using that tactic, but I threw in 2 AW IMR 18650's and an AW IMR 18350, and just hand completed the circuit with a tool, and it lit up fine.
The AW Protected cells I have are on the backside of their useful life I'm thinking....
