visual diference from 1w to 3w led

Hi guys,
I've bought some cheap chinese mr16(12v) led bulbs branded at 9w from the seller.
After using them for a while they apeared very dimm.
So I tested them and gess what..... they consume 2.5w

I would like to know if they sold me a 3w bulb as a 9w, or if it is a problem with the driver

So is there any visual diference between a 1w led and a 3w led?
As far as I can see they look the same and are almost the same size.

FYI: it's fairly common that Chinese sellers sell mislabeled stuff. Where it be on purpose or not. Sometimes they get scammed just like you and me.
China electronics = Buyer beware.

Some are honest some are sleazy. Just like anywhere else in the world really. There just seem to be more China sellers so it just seems worse.
