I have been obsessing on the potential output of the TN36UTVn; waiting.... waiting to see it make its appearance.

Well let's see. At least 4 emitters, if not 5 or 6. The more emitters there are, the less space for reflectors so less throw. Using multi-emitters, XHP70'S? Pop can so probably 4 batteries, therefore not as heavy as the X60vn. But heat management could be a big challenge. Speaking of heat, depending upon price, this could be a hot seller!

I'm guessing that recipe includes some 219c thrown in the mix :naughty:

An m43vn with twelve 219c's and a huge heat sink would be awesome :)

or perhaps a mini tn30 with a huge copper heat sink that sits where the reflectors used to and sticks an inch out the front with large fins and a top that can accept a new bezel ring and lens, then 4 triples with 219c's, narrow Carlco optics, and a new driver that can run it all. I could machine something like that. Just sayin' ;)

My guess is also triple XHP70 which would be 3,667 OTF lumen each. Totally doable with that emitter.
