Hubby pointed me at today's XKCD, because well you would when the postie has just delivered you a new Fenix PD35 tactical that very morning!

XKCD has been producing some great, techie comics for years now. If you have time to spare, work your way through the archives... the day will be gone before you know it and you'll still be asking for more. :)

Re: Today's XKCD

Setting the whole forest on fire at the same time sounds like a challenge. I've seen lights burn wood, but I don't think I've seen anything at that kind of range.

What model is this? I need a flashlight that has sound effects and sets trees on fire.

It's an added bonus if it has recoil as well.

Just go to the original XKCD site and move the cursor over the comics. You will get a hint of the website. ;) :D

oh yeah... the Time series of comics was truly epic! It took me a little while to figure out the comic was being updated every half hour or so. It didn't take me long to start saving each one, which is a bit of an obsession when it takes weeks (or was it a couple of months) for the series of comics to reach a conclusion (of sorts).

there is a fun little simulation of the catapult used in the early part of the Time comic. A great way to take a break at work!!
