Dimmable LED T8 replacement?

I have an A/V room in my basement that has 8-foot T12 fixtures recessed into the ceiling. I'd like to replace these noisy lights with LED tubes. I just read that Hollywood Lights makes a retrofit LED T8 tube that's dimmable. Now that I know it exists, I MUST have a dimmer on that light circuit!
Problem is the LED tube is only available in 4-foot.

Are there other options for dimmable LED light strips?

A quick search didn't yield any dimmable 8 foot LED tube replacements.

If you don't want to replace the fixture with an LED one, you could maybe get some white LED string lights that have adhesive on one side. You should be able to run it down the length of the fixture using the metal backing. They also have wireless controls for them so you could dim it or whatever you want.
