Hi everybody after 2 year with my K40 v54 XML2 I begin a new build. I always wanted a sbt 70 flashlight and love this jax z1.
I already ordered everything for the build.
The 22mm FET driver from mtn electronic
sbt 70 diode from kaidomain + sst90 copper board
And battery from banggood , (vappower 5200mah) but order still on pending for a week, and today I got a mail from them because the battery is out of stock.
But I want to know if my choice want correct for the vappower before changing my order to another IMR cell.
Mtn electronic says me it's not his top choice for the same driver and an xml.
But I use a sbt70 and the same driver;
The SBT70 as a low Forward voltage. The vappower will be okay?
Do you have better choice for the battery?
Thank you very much.

I have z1vn sbt70, using 26650 imr keeppower, seems ok... That sbt70+fet surely gonna draw 10++amp... Just a reminder, don't forget to bypass the spring..

It's vinh driver vn2.. So it should be a fet type.. I use old clamping type dmm, read about 11,5amp on keeppower black 5200.. Don't know if the dmm is correct, but the fenix arb-l4 and xtar 4000 26650 is about 10++amp.. Don't know for sure, but teej and others have a good explanation about amp and lumen difference with our eye (I don't see double on the beam visibility, while the power change from 30 to 100 percent in fet mode)

Thanks for these great information.
I need to make à choice for à battery on banggood. They will cancel m'y order if I don't got them an anwser.
I have choice:
IMR:
http://www.banggood.com/fr/1pcs-Kee...7V-Electronic-Cigarette-Battery-p-980791.html
http://www.banggood.com/fr/MNKE-IMR-26650-3800mAh-35A-Rechargeable-Lithium-ion-Battery-p-936094.html
Li-ion:
http://www.banggood.com/fr/EVVA-266...echargeable-Lithium-ion-Battery-p-935603.html
http://www.banggood.com/fr/Fenix-ARB-L4-4800mAh-3_7V-26650-Rechargeable-Battery-p-971529.html

I think MR are the best choice. But you say the fenix do 10 amps. And the EVVA cell seems to have a protection circuit that tripping at 6~7amps.
And what do you thinl about the MKE?because I can't find a review about it.

yup but that's just a simple test a month ago iirc... you should not worry about it.. imo our eyes cannot see the difference in total amperage rise about 10 percent... to be honest, i barely see the difference in 70-100 percent (in my case, 7amp to 10 amp).... meanwhile i don't ever had the other 26650 in that jax z1, you may consider the capacity as it draws 10++ amp.. more amp=more heat=less runtime for sure...just to remind you, there's lot of 18650 test with few of 26650 test, so as an option, you can have that jax with 18650+simple sleeve for power, and get the 26650 with most capacity for runtime and not to worry for overheating that discontinue $$$ emitter...

Thanks for you help.I answer banggood I changing m'y order for the keeppower.
I will by a panasonic ncr 18650ga with this 26650.
The FET driver from mtn is capable of lots of amps. 11amps will be possible. If somebody as a better IMR. I know mtn sell some efest but with low capacity.

After seing review about the IMR keeppower you talking.
I searching it on banggood. But don't see it (it doesn't appear in search result for me)
I juste read every page in the battery categorie and I see it IMR 26650 5200MAH.
Juste ordered one with a panasonic ncr 18650b unprotected.
