hey guys,

here is my first selfmade head-light and i will show you step by step in pictures. Here we go:

i build two of this lights, one with 3x XP-G2 and one with tripple Nichia 219BT. Batterie is a normal 18650 LiIon.

I love seeing machining in progress photos. That looks really awesome. But I have to ask, how heavy is that thing?? Especially being strapped to your head.

the wight of the light with batterie is 130gram. So its really comfortable to wear it ;)

Now that is some German precision! Nice setup to work with, attractive light. Did you do a drawing for this build, or just figured out details on the go?

Super cool. I mean, to think that you turned that cold piece of aluminum in the very first pic, into that beautiful headlamp just blows me away. Fantastic job. If you were selling, I'd be buying. Very nice work...
