I have one of those huge reflector lamps. halogen 100w h3

lead-acid batteries are dead.
I'll have to upgrade the batteries (18650 cells maybe) , any suggestions for bulb? hid 35W enough?

with their experience, 55W HID it better than the 100W halogen?

Imo, yes, much better. Will throw considerably farther, beam shape will be better as well. Runtime vs. output will be much better. Little to no dimming as battery drains. Only downfall is warm-up/cool-down times with HID.

so, i decided run this project only with stock materials
recycled cells (in test)

35W xenon



first test I think that 35W xenon its better than 100W original bulb
