I currently have a 35w HID light on my push bike running from a 2kg alarm battery.
Ive just bought a new battery (LiPo) and I want to upgrade to a LED headlight.
I have a 50w warm white LED and running 12v at 3.2A its still slightly brighter than the 35w HID.
This could be due to my beam pattern on my HID but thats not really something I can mess with.
I have seen a cold white on eBay: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/321262367615
But although it looks the same as mine the specs are way off.
Both 50w
Mine runs at 1750ma, that one runs at 1500ma
Mine produces 3000-3500 lumens (claimed) and these produce 4500-5000 lumens.

But that one is 1650ma?
How come there are so many variations between them?
If i purchase the one from China, do you think it will be brighter than my current 50w?
Is mine old technology?
Or do they invent their own facts and figures?
