Titanium Pyramids Light -- price dropped

A simple twist light with what looks like knurling, but isn't—what you actually see are milled square pyramids on both the head and the battery tube. The pyramids have been sanded, so there are no sharp points to impinge on your hand. They do, however, provide good grip for on/off twist operation.

Material: 6AL4V Titanium
Operation: Twist Light
LED: Cree XM-L U2 Mounted on a copper 16mm round MCPCB from Led-Tech.DE
Lumen output: Anywhere from 1 to over 800 lumens.
Driver: Icarus Driver from Prometheus Lights

    • Fully user programmable
    • 1-7 modes in 2 groups
    • 22 brightness levels
    • sub-lumen "moonlight"
    • 1 sec. "off time" memory
    • 3.4 Amp max current
    • Voltage: (2.8-4.2V) Lithium Ion ONLY
Lens: 2mm thick Mineral Glass lens
O-rings: Two O-rings provide water protection.
Battery: AW18650 battery, 2600mAh
Reflector: Stippled aluminum reflector
Light engine: Fully enclosed driver with copper and brass battery positive contact.
Silicone ring: Installed on bottom of driver to prevent battery rattling.
Length/diameter/weight: 121mm long, 25.12mm diameter, 5.2 ounces

SOLD: Was $1,100, now $900, includes shipping to the CONUS; overseas shipping is extra. Payable via PayPal to: fanatic @ photonfanatic.com (remove spaces)

First person to send payment through PP gets the light; I will notify the list as soon as the light is sold. In case I receive any later payments, I will, of course, immediately issue a refund.

PhotonFanatic,

That is a beautiful, inspired design: I'm sure the lucky owner - Congratulations! - will enjoy it immensely.
Any chance of more photos please? (I'd particularly love to see it before you added the colour, that is, the Ti in the raw).

Still a bit more to do, but I think you can figure that out.

Sorry, couldn't resist!

Thanks, O Maker Of Lights.

Can I be greedy: "Please Sir, Can I Ask For More?"
It's beauty is defined, and in the clear Ti it's exceptional - photos of the raw complete light would be great.
(OTOH, I fully 'preciate you're busy).
