Hi everyone !

I have a few empty hosts and some optics. I don't have leds or driver-boards yet.
Here's what I am looking for:
- Drivers-boards for 1-cell operation; I will be using AW cells (some sizes RCR123, 17670, but mostly 18500, 18650). I have the Black AW cells, I can also get the RED ones.

- Runtime is NOT an issue I want above-average output from the led (without maxing it to 101%), Single mode around 1500mA to 2000mA ? or >2500mA is the driver has a ui with more than 1 mode.

- Single LED light. Which led is suitable for 1 cell operation (using a recommended board) ?
XM-L2 ? SST-90 ? XP-L ?

About the boards:
- Taskled has Fatman, LFlex and DualFlex with 2.7v Input Voltage (source: http://taskled.com/compare.shtml) which are in the $25-$30 range each. They seem to be high quality boards, just from looking at them an reading their website.

- I have some old FluPics here and there also, I can also use those, I would have to check the version.

- I also saw a few on DX.com - those are cheap, they look to be built good and some have many reviews, but not sure if those reviews are real, and they are not in USA. anyone here got some experience ?

- I also found THIS site (http://intl-outdoor.com/components-drivers-c-57_88.html), they have what seem to be good drivers also at an attractive price.

- This site seems to review a lot, I just don't know what everything means :p
http://www.videofoundry.co.nz/ianma...odes=any&size_min=&size_max=&order=drivername

- Not needed or optional: reverse polarity protection, open circuit protection

- Who else here makes (custom) led drivers ?
What is Nanjg and AMC7135 ?
I read about PWM and Linear, which is best ?

My lights have 36mm-ish to 50mm-ish reflectors...

I know there are TONS of options, you don't have to list them all for me, your top 3 would be fine I hope ?
This info should be sufficient I hope ? Thanks everyone!!

Found some more options for led driver boards:

This board has a ramping mode (select any level between 1% and 100%):

Here's one with different modes you can set with a few solder contacts, like dip-switches:

Info on some old skool drivers drivers like the Fatman and BBng etc...
