In post #18 I have outlined my issue. User 'harro' has kindly suggested that perhaps someone here might be able to offer assistance/counsel.
To clarify - the body (barrel) of my light is one sealed component that contains the battery pack. It does NOT have a removeable magazine, and it does NOT have individual LRB-168 (or 18650) cells. In order to rebuild it...it will require surgery that is beyond my capabilites.
