    Hi all,

    Adventure Sport is expanding the DIY parts bin in the store. This expansion will include many of the parts to build popular items such as high powered maglites, pocket lights and P60 bulbs.

    Hi Matt! I just popped in to see if there might be an xpg2 vs. xpg3 conversation going on in here somewhere. ;-)

    I've seen a few conversations about it. The clear advantage XPG3 has over G2 is a lower VF. You can direct drive these emitters and really capitalize on its lumen capability. The disadvantage is that the new dome makes the beam quality poor. It's not that its rough or ringy, its actually quite smooth, but the color blending is a disaster. They mostly create an orange or green outer ring, with a pink center. Optics work better than reflectors with them usually but nether one produces the color quality seen in XPG2 or XML2.
