Putting aside the high-end stuff like McGizmo, does anyone make a reasonable quality AA mule?
The Foursevens Atom AL is pretty much perfect, but it's CR123 not AA. Unfortunately, the Atom AA has horrible mode-spacing, so it's out (I have them both, love the AL, hate the AA).
Forward-facing is strongly preferred, which rules out the Zebralight H502 series. That's also about the absolute limit on what I'd be willing to spend.
Must run on Eneloops. Ability to run on other chemistries is nice-to-have.
