Transformers for MR-16 LEDs

I have some pendant lights in my kitchen that used to have MR-16 halogen bulbs. I replaced them with MR-16 LED bulbs. They worked fine for a while but then then started going out, flickering, etc. I have some some research and learned this is because the electronic transformers that are in the fixtures are sketchy for use with LEDs. I have seen reference to "2nd generation" transformers that will work, but can't find any such thing labeled as such for sale. Can anyone point me in the right direction? The transformer needs to be able to fit inside the base of the fixture. The ones in there now are about 2.5" x 1.5"x .75"

Check out the LUXdrive drivers by LEDdynamics, they have some built specifically for MR16's. They're not cheap, but they're high quality and reliable.
