Yes... I directed the threads, but couldn't find what I was looking for. I'm sure there's one out there and if anyone can point me to a link I'd appreciate it.

I used to only use AW cells, but I'm not sure there's even around any more or are the best. Looking to run these in a high lumen, 1,200, drop in in a 6P as well as my K60vn and Nitecore TM06. Any reccs would be appreciated. I've heard of the keepower, effect and have the 2600mAh Nitecores. Ideally looking for higher mAh cells.

Thanks all!

The tm06 will need button tops, the k60vn and 6p will be fine with either(flat or button top).

Samsung 30Q are a good start 15a and 3000mah(good value too)

Sanyo/LG 10a 3500mah are another good option.

Although there are other cells that may be better for special purposes (like if you need very high current), the Sanyo NCR18650GA is generally considered the best general purpose cell available today. It has the highest capacity (3500mAH). And the 10A continuous discharge is enough for most any light out there. The LG MJ1 shares many of the same specs of the NCR18650GA, but doesn't hold its voltage quite as well under a load.

Agree 100% with your statement.

In my tests I can get 10-15 mah from MJ1 at lower load, but when it comes to higher current load NCR18650GA is superior cell. It holds voltage much better from 4.2V to 3V (usable voltage range for flashlights).
@ 10A NCR18650GA beats LG MJ1 in capacity, and in higher average voltage during the whole discharge process.

3000mAh LG HG2 and Samsung 30Q are very affordable batteries ( below $6 ), but for regular everyday flashlight use I would always go for NCR18650GA protected cells.
Or unprotected for 1x 18650 flashlights.
