If anyone wants it, I'll mail it to them for free - I forgot I had this - PM me!
EDIT : Now claimed

This prompted the beginning of this thread.
Garageboy sent this at no cost. So figuring on doing a thread on vintage penlights at some point I figure the toggle switch Rayovac would be a great one to start out with.

Frankly I'd forgotten about it. And when I saw the package I scratched my head.
Upon opening a 2aa LED light was the first thing I saw. Huh?
But further investigation revealed the Rayovac.
Side note, my wife quickly called dibs on the little LED light...

Easy to spot in a purse.

With acquiring several incan double A's lately my 24 pack of Rayovacs had 2 left.
I put 'em in, toggled the switch...nothing.
Checked bulb and it looked ok.
Wait...it's a Norelco... must stash.
So a new china made 222 was put in. Viola!

Turns out you can insert them button up or down and this light will go. Nice.

It's a pretty simple operation with a tip that protects the bulb and slides off to reveal the bulb that is threaded into the business end of the body.
At the other end is a toggle switch that doesn't mind which direction it's toggled.

There ya have the basics of this simple battery operated fire on a stick.

The chrome is in great condition.

But the beam you ask?

Kinda looks like a pissed off alien.

Typical 67¢ china made crap shoot quality but it's light in darkness with this fun little flashlight.

Research indicates Rayovac made these between 1950 and 1960...possibly as late as 1963.
Thank you Garageboy. Good Kharma heading your way.

I have others to mention but as this is typed they do not light.

Cup o lights
