first flashlight build

Hey guys. I'm new to the forum so excuse my lack of knowledge.

Anyway, I want to build a light in a 501b host. I have the complete light but I want something brighter. Truth be told I play airsoft, big kid nerf, and need a light for the front of my marker. I'm looking for something with memory so I can leave it in strobe. I've found a few parts but I'm not sure how any of this works so please throw me in the right direction. Here's my parts list so far.

Looks okay, but it is limited by needing two cr123 primaries. Maybe somebody else can suggest a strobe driver compatible with one 18650.

That driver works great with an xml2 and a single 18650. As it is a linear driver it's not recommended to use 6V with a single led.
