We don't really go by those numbers printed on the wrapper, as they're often times exaggerated.

As you can see, they're closer to 700mAh than they are to even 800mAh and that's at only a 100mA drain, which is near what you're be using them at.

The AWT IMR cell is over 800mAh at 200mA and has more capacity at a 5A drain than the Efest at 100mA.

Good luck with your stuff, however.

I am running at 100 mAh so the numbers might be different.
Though we have many valleys to travel and mountains to climb, by nature we are inclined to fear the unknown. Life rewards those of us who accept the call to go where we have never been even when we, seemingly, have to go there alone.

Any other idea? Something more than (real) 800mAh?
I don't need high drain cells, I am totally ok with 2 Amp for my small flashlight...

I went with AWT IMR 18350s for my two Convoy S2+ lights, mostly because the custom triple that Ven sent me pulls 6A.

We'll see how long they last. If you need more mAh, you should just carry a spare, or use a bigger cell in a different light.

Did you end up trying the Xtar's? They are supposed to be one of the best higher capacity 18350's at reasonable amp draws.

The Aspire 18350 looks very impressive. A measured capacity of 1136mAh at 10A discharge down to 2.5V

As I said couple months ago, chinese factories got upgraded equipment, so 1200mAh 18350s, 3000mAh 18650s and 6000mAh 26650s from chinese brands soon will hit most stores.

Although 3000mAH 18650s seem rather underwhelming (due to the fact that we already have this and better from the Big Four), 1200mAH 18350s and 6000mAH 26650s would be VERY welcome. Of course, better 16340s would also be GREAT.

Currently, good quality domestic 2600mAh 5C 18650 cells in china are sold in RETAIL for average $1.2 So 3000mAh domestic 18650 cells, which will cost around $1.5, will find good market at mainland China. Price for brandname 18650s 3000mAh are around $4 per cell in china even.
