Are you after that specific cell (say because its a favorite) or after a particular attribute like runtime / body length / amps?

Thanks for the reply. At one point, it's more on the specific cell, ability to run 18500 (/14500 via delrin sleeve) for added flexibility. But looking further, it's for those like me (YMMV) who finds the 35 physically too short and the 70 too long, and this is where the 50 will come in. No specific advantage on runtime, a "tweener" of some sort.

with the new keeppower and aspire 18350 cells, you have 1100 mah, wich is the same as a AW18500 IMR. and the possibility to use a cr123.

I like 18500 flashlight. I have a tl50 for my V5 drop in and a fivemega 3p (thanks xdayv ) with a zrs. Now with 18500 IMR batteries and 2000 mah, I wil re-consider my position

Can we expect a titanium version anytime soon?

We've been working on a redesigned heatsink much of the year, that should support titanium. Results are coming, so not soon but perhaps this winter.

Ordered my vintage copper 35 last night. I’m pretty stoked for this. I think it’s time for me to try something new. The world does not revolve around Ti alone. This should be a good test to see if this can take away pocket time from my McGizmos or Hanko.

Here's a update on my patina finish from the first run. I very rarely carry my 35 body so it's a good representation of what the finish looked like new.

^^ The original Patina version was the best finish I guess... hopefully it comes back?

Anybody running Sanyo NCR18650GA 3500mah with the BOSS? What's your experience? Thanks.

I'm also a huge fan of the 4000k xpl hi emitters from the first run. I with they would come back for a few drops.

I'm really interested in your thoughts when you get it. Been looking at Hanko for ages (Don't own one), however I too ordered the copper vintage tonight. Review pls!

Another Q: how do you remove the Mcclicky rubber boot? TIA.

I use a pick to remove the oring then the boot just pulls out.

Unlikely. It was intended as a small scale finish and is to time consuming to do at our improved volumes. We did satin silver specifically to replace patina but will likely only be doing anodized on future 7075.

I'd love to see a BOSS in natural HA.
    Hello darkness my old friend,
I've come to talk with you again...
I liked neutral tints before they were cool.

If I had to give up my Patina finish for another, that would be my choice too. Bring back the days of beautiful HA instead of black all the time.
Marduke - Solitaire...I've seen matches which are brighter AND have a longer runtime. 光陰矢の如し

Iirc Dan mentioned they´d give up on natural HA (probably because the finish looks different all the time). Unfortunatelly though.

Looks like it happened on the BOSS E-head Nat HA.

Yet the idea of a Nat HA BOSS is still intriguing, don't you think? Maybe a limited run.

Absolutely Dave! Although Overeadys rather glosssy HA-natural wasn´t my favourite to be honest. Maybe they could talk to RPM, the anodizer he uses produces a really great matte HA-natural like I´ve only seen on surefires.

I think that we're all going to love the Ti version that's been alluded to by the Oveready guys once it becomes available.
In layman's terms, "theory" means an idea. However "scientific theory" is fact because it requires proof.

Yeah, 7075 did not like the natural process. The results were so bad, half the E nat head parts didn't even get made because of it. We could try changing to a different aluminum but the 7 series is really nice. Another option is finding a shop that does gray dye but such a thing would be a side side project.
