    I got it anyway.
Hey, try and get that sort of info from some of the other makers.
Actually, try getting a response from them.

I'm positive every USA Made flashlight has components partially produce in other countries. Not to mention i have been purchasing from OR for years, I'm aware they rep countries of origin in their product pages. Jeesh!
vadimax's reply was equally lighthearted with winks and grins (just in case it wasn't obvious!) .... so not sure what the "Jeesh and rolling eyes" are all about.

I am new to Oveready lights and recently obtained a BOSS 35, easily one of my favorites, such a cool light. Since I am new to these can someone tell me if there is a significance to the three circles on the one side of the light? Is this just part of the design? A logo of some sort?
Have mine with me today and I have lots of custom lights to choose from

It's the logo for OR, Modoolar and Torchlab. One or all of them I think.
    Congrats on the Boss.

Thanks for the reply Peter. I know it's the same design as on the clip, cool clip as well!
Thanks I was thrilled to grab it secondhand. Wish I would have pulled the trigger on the one I had in my cart in the first place lol.

    Update:

Was planning to launch Decembers release this weekend but hit by an ice storm. The view out the back of ORHQ is stunning...

Ah, but most likely the best-lit place during the power outage.

I scored a boss 70 and have to say so far it's a beast of a light. Great fit and finish. Crazy bright and I'm really digging the amber. I wanted red at first but am very happy with the amber.

    Thanks Guys!

It lasted longer than usual and was colder that usual, creating a surreal experience.

Overall it wasn't any single thing but a whole mess of little things...

Melting the car before the taps go cold,
    Getting ice for the fridge,
Figuring new ways to charge the phone,
Shrinking the living space to get closer to limited heat,
Learning to 'shut' the covers so they're warm when you get back,
Making all new plans for what to eat - and how,
Adjusting to the dark and the quiet and the cold
Asking why power lines aren't installed underground,
Breaking out the firewood kit before we freeze:

And of course lighting. His and her BOSS's. After even a few hours without house lighting, anything beyond the amber is jarring unless doing a big task thats worth ruining your night vision for. But yes, the 200k lumens sitting on the table was mighty tempting. But even have all that, my 18650 is still over 4v!

Not at present. Were you thinking single XPL with 1/3 power or something larger?

Thank you. Your patina finish is unique and I loved that too.
The image of all those BOSSes together is flashlight Nirvana.

Default v5 Triple BOSS Flashlight (Bright Output Small Size)

    I said I wanted a 219 combo with amber. What a coincidence!

Although those warmer tints on the XPL sound nice. What is the cri?

And what does it mean options can be changed after? Like, buy quick and make changes later?

Which would have a higher CRI: 219b or XPL?

I'm guessing the 219b is 85+ and the XPL is 70+.

Lets just say someone was looking over my shoulder

Lets say you knew someone after a high demand low supply model. You might advise them to skip non LED options on the way to adding it to cart, then send us an email after the fact of any items other than default.

XPLHI are about 75, 219 are about 90
These XPL are slightly warm tinted, so very comfortable on the eyes
But colors will still pop more from the Nichia

    In short...

    219
    1) color
    2) brightness (matters less if only running one cell)

    XPL
    1) brightness
    2) color

It's oke, you cant satisfy everyone. I'm gonna check stock when I get home, maybe i'll get lucky. I want a 70 though so probably they will be gone.
I don't mind waiting too much though. As long as I get one eventually
