NITECORE Professional Charger Series

Digicharger D2

Hi everybody!

Last week I bought myself a new battery charger – NITECORE Digicharger D2. I purchased it from the official distributor for Bulgaria batteryservice.bg for € 19.50. I like this model because it can be used for many types of batteries and thus eliminating the need to own several chargers. At first glance the charger looks good. The manufacturing quality is high.

There is a list of compatible batteries in the front of the package.

Until now for charging my batteries I used two different chargers – one for Li-ion and another for Ni-MH/Ni-Cd. After much experimentation with the Nitecore charger I found that D2 is doing much better with charging different types batteries. An advantage is that the charging current can be reduced for batteries with less capacity. It would be better if the charger was able to charge with a current of 1 Ampere if only one slot is included battery. The display shows in details all the necessary information. The charger has automatic detection of the batteries(with the exception of LiFePO4). The charger is protected from backward battery installation, temperature protection and overtime prevention. This is a really smart universal battery charger.

After charging the Li-ion battery with the new charger I found that my modified Flashlight illuminates stronger. The Peak Beam Intensity measured with a Luxmeter is 14 400 cd – 20% more than charging with the old charger. The battery is stronger – provides higher current and therefore LED glows more brightly. It is awesome.
I am very happy with purchasing of the Digicharger D2.
