Hello,
I"ve been swapping parts and now have a bunch of MN lamps on which I can't find any part #'s. How can I tell a MN01 from a MN02 or MN03? Some have different color bases, are they color coded? Thanks,

sidetracker,
The MN01s have a black base and the MN03s have a cream/white base. There may be some variations out there, so be careful! I'm not sure about the MN02s - Sorry.

Can a MNO2 be used in a E1e, and if so does it increase the brightness as compared to the MNO1?

Thanks,
Jerry

No, the MN02 cannot be used in the E1e or any other 1-cell light, this bulb is made for 6V or 2-cell E-series. Using this LA in the E1e would underdrive it creating a weak and yellow beam.
