  • Lowest Discharge Voltage: 2.50V
  • Standard Charge: CC/CV ( max. charging rate 2.2A )
  • Cycle Life: > 500 cycles
  • Max. continuous discharge rate: 20A
  • Operating Discharge Temperature: -10 - 60 Degree Celsius
  • Dimensions: 18.15 x 65.6 (+/-0.05)mm

A high current and fairly low capacity 18650 cell. This is one of the few high current cells with button top.

Discharge curves looks very good up to 20A with very good tracking and nearly constant capacity, but the cell cannot handle 30A (Probably the reason it is rated for 20A).

The battery gets warm during a 20A discharge, but not too warm.

The cell handles 20A fine, but the capacity is a bit low by todays standards.

I guess, it worth mentioning, that button top is just soldered over, or is it part of the positive contact?

I have not checked it.
Button top can be made a couple of way:

Part of battery can: Requires a special production run, because battery packs never uses button tops. AW has done this before, but it is also done by the som cheap low quality cells manufacturer (They make cells with too low quality to be used for any real usage).

Soldered to battery can: Requires a special production run, because it must be soldered on before the battery is made.

Welded to battery can: This is fairly common and is usual the best method.

Mounted with a metal strip: This is probably the most common method. A metal strip is welded to the battery top and to the button top and then the button top is folded in over the battery top. This type of button top can usual move around a bit.

Welding can be done a finished battery and is also the method used when making battery packs.

When dealing with such high currents, it matters quite much.

My curves includes the resistance from the button top (It would be hard not to). But they do not include contact and connection resistance any more and that is more than the extra resistance from the button top.
