olight R40 or R50 need some users advice pls

Hello everyone.
My first good flash light so would like some help please. A salesman is saying the R40 olight is better than the R50. Maybe trying to use existing stock i think.
What do the experts say?

The r40 has the xml2 iirc and quoted 1100lm, the new r50 has the xhp50 and closer to 2500lm. The v54 version off vinh r50vn with the shaved dome xhp50 gets the kcd up to over 40kcd. Real nice useful beam, lots of bright spill to make it a great all rounder. I would be looking at the newer version unless you wanted the xlm2 specifically .
