Are they prone to leaking if left in a flashlight for an extended period of time, or are they relatively immune to that problem?

Thanks.
I just pulled the (mostly alkaline) batteries out of a bunch of lights that I had laying around, knowing that eventually, they WILL leak. I left the lithium batteries installed, in what are mostly my newest lights.

P.S. Only two days until Greengoose Squadron has their Photon Festival. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbsup.gif Coffee, jerky, and two footlockers full of flashlights - sounds like a party to me. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

123A batteries can leak and can explode. Cheap imports cutting corners (there have been recalls - even of flashlights containing certain brands)

That's why I only use SF123As or DL123As
