This battery has very good capacity, especially when used down to 6V

Alkalisk is just the Swedish word for alkaline. IKEA names seemed mysterious to me until I learned Swedish and found out that they are just common nouns and (place) names.

HKJ, it's Alkalisk, not Alkaliske. I assume that's how you would spell alkalisk in Danish?

I think he's using the plural form: et alkalisk batteri, flere alkaliske batterier.

It was a typo, it was supposed to match the text on the battery.

A typo would have been my second guess. Oh well, I got a chance to brush up on my Danish - with a little help from Google Translate. Thanks for the review, by the way, it reminded me that it is about time I replaced the battery in my smoke detector.
