2005 Honda Civic

Just picked up a 2005 Civic, its the base model with I believe 9005 and 9006 headlights. This car was garage kept and the headlights are pristine, no fog, yellowing, etc... the car only has 33,000 miles.

So, are we doing HIR1 and HIR2?

That's what I would put in it. Specifically these HIR2 low beam and these HIR1 high beam.

Tell me about these GM bulbs...and why we are using them instead of phillips

They're by Vosla, not GM, and they are +30 versions, so they slightly edge out the Philips bulbs (at least in beam focus, life is a little shorter). GM stocks them because they're part of a TSB for poor headlamp performance (PIT5374/2014 GMC Sierra Exterior Lighting Service Bulletin 384039).
