I'm pretty new to the Flashlight game, I recently acquired an OLight R50 Seeker, it uses a proprietary 26650 battery. I am looking for information on testing the battery with a digital multimeter. I was able to find a lot of information on testing 18650 batteries but didn't want to assume that the same info would apply to the 26650.

All lithium rechargables that charge to 4.2V are identical in how you check and test them with a multimeter. Doesn't matter what size

As long as we are comparing the same chemistries, the only difference between an 18650 and 26650 is size. This affects such qualities as capacity and maximum current draw. But other things, such as voltage testing and basic lithium ion care and safety, remain the same for 26650s.
