Thanks! Nice little site.
It says "AA (50mm)" though. 14550's are a couple mm longer, which makes me a little concerned.

A 14500 is only a few mm longer if it is protected. But a naked 14500 is the same length as a AA.

At 1:45 is a 14500 Oveready body with a V5 Wasp head and Triad tailcap with McClicky switch. If cdm-dude wants to have a 14500 option... more power. I also have Oveready sleeves and spacers for flexibility and do not remember having fitment issues per se. There was a seeming drop in power due to 'not optimum' connections between sleeves, spacers and batteries

Why not just buy an 18650?

The only reason I can see would be if you have a bunch of 14500s laying around. That way, you could use them in a pinch (like in an emergency situation). Just getting an 18650 (or several of them) would certainly be a better idea, especially since 18650s are now relatively cheap. But it might be good to be able to use your 14500s as backups.

Kind of strange having no mention of the 14500 format, especially at those prices. So, yeah... Looks like I'm going to order the 18650 adapter from Martin after all.
