So this came about mainly because I lost a Vihn modded warm E01 that was given to me by another forum member. Really loved and now miss the warm tint and I haven't been able to find a replacement of the Vihn mod. So, at work today, I looked down at a brown Sharpie marker and thought why not? So I grabbed my E01 and sharpied up the led. I'm a little surprised by how much I like the outcome. So much so that I grabbed a Fenix E12 and sanded down the lens and hit that with the brown Sharpie as well. Seems to have worked even better on the E12. Both are now floodier and dimmer, but also WAY warmer. Not everyones cup of tea but thought I'd share. First beam shot is an E01 next to the sharpie E01, and second is my Malkoff MDC Nichia next to the sharpied E12.
