25% less performance is kinda vague. as in, 25% less of 500k lux is 375k lux but 25% less of 1414 meters is 1061 meters.

erm, and 375k lux is supposed to be 918.6 meters...
and 281.5k lux is 1061 meters.

too much math!

The price is definitely right tho. Gives my Manker U21vn a run for its money.

25% less output as in amount of lumen. So whatever 25% of 900 is. About 675 lumens. Then figure out the throw from there. Not sure if 25% less lumen is also 25% less throw....

it's just lumens doesn't translate directly into lux. unless we have numbers from another light with identical or similar reflectors that we can compare with.

I'm with you on the second part tho. I don't know if, considering it's the exact same light, 25% of lumen is 25% of throw.

Not on throw distance. A reduction in lumens will give a reduction in Lux ( not throw in metres ) of the same value. For example, if a 1000 lumen light gives 250k Lux and 1 km of throw, then if it is running at 500 lumens it will give 125K ( around 750ms) . At 250 lumens it will give 62.5K, and 500ms of throw. The usual diminished throw distance returns of increased Lux still apply here. 25% reduction will not have as much impact on throw distance as on lumen output. 🙂

Any chance that the T30 might be next?
Prefer the 26650 and ability to recharge the light in that one.

nice price,,,,,,great throw.

As far as output it is basically equivalent to my OSTS TN31mb which is ~800L certified @ 470Kcd. Body style a lot different, mine is 3 X 18650 and heavier,,,,this light is 2" longer and $45 cheaper than my super discount from 3+ years ago!

For the longest time I've waited to see a new 2x18650 light take down the stock m3xs-ut at the 150 buck price range.
Here you get Vinh quality, a much better tint, and 400 meters of extra throw for $5 more.

M3xs-ut has been dethroned! (I'll start taking offers on mine, ha!)

What makes this light even better is you can use 2 imr 18350 and get the full 500kcd with the shorter compact length.
