will a 3500 mah, 10 amp draw, high drain be ok for this light?
or do you have to run the 20 or 30 amp draw ones?
can you run protected?
do you need a button top for the carrier, or will flat top work ok ?

thanks

I had flat top GAs in mine for a while (which are 10A batteries). Works great! I was recently told that 30qs (15A) are the way to go so I switched but honestly, I can't tell the difference since I only have 1 TN40vn.

I would recommend against protected batteries as most of Vinh's mods require high amps. I'm sure someone else here has measured the amp draw on this light and could give you more precise advise.
