This time in Canada. It looks like a spare 18650 carried loose in the pocket shorted with pocket change.

This guy suffered 1st and 2nd degree burns on his hand and heeds skin graft for the 3rd degree burn to his thigh. The case of the 18650 is fused to his jeans.
But the thing that gets me is what he said - 'We had heard about the actual devices exploding but never knew the risk of the batteries...."

Aren't vape stores telling people it's the batteries that cause the explosions and warning not to carry loose batteries? or just people not listening?
