While looking up the specs on my Nitecore EA11 today, I notice that in the User Manual in the section where it talks about what cells are usable, it mentions primary LiFePO4 at 3.2v as a cell type. Is there such an animal? I am not the most knowledgeable, but I have never heard of one if they do exist.
Addendum: Apparently it is not a misprint. I was at BJ after posting this looking at their primary lithium AA prices, and they are selling just such a cell, except it is described as an LiFePO2, rather than the LiFePO4 we are all used to. That must be what makes the difference between non-rechargeable and rechargeable.
